Privacy Policy & Cookie Disclosure

1. Introduction & Overview

SaveManager ("we", "our", or "us"), available at https://reel.savemanager.site/, provides browser-based media analysis and manifest extraction tools for creators, researchers, and digital archivists. This Privacy Policy details the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our website, along with our compliance with international data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Google AdSense Partner Policies.

2. Data Minimization & Zero Media Storage

We operate under a strict principle of data minimization:

• No User Accounts: You do not need to register an account, log in, or provide personal identifying information (such as your name or credit card) to use SaveManager.
• Zero Video Caching: We do not store, copy, index, or archive any videos, reels, photos, or audio files processed through our platform. All data is parsed in real time and delivered directly to your client browser.
• Local Browser History: The "Media Vault" feature stores download history solely within your device's browser using HTML5 localStorage. This data never touches or leaves our servers, and you can clear it anytime by clicking "Clear All Vault" in the UI.

3. Log Files & Automated Information Collection

Like most standard web servers, SaveManager utilizes log files to monitor operational performance, mitigate DDoS attacks, and maintain service security. The information inside log files includes:

• Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (anonymized in analytical reporting)
• Browser type, language, and operating system
• Internet Service Provider (ISP) and network routing metrics
• Date and time stamps of incoming requests
• Referring and exit pages to measure traffic flow

This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information and is automatically purged on a rolling 30-day schedule.

4. Cookies, Web Beacons & Third-Party Advertising

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to ensure basic site functionality (such as remembering your Dark or Light theme preference).
